He is renowned for pioneering Haploidentical Bone Marrow Transplantation in India, especially for sickle cell disease and thalassemia.

Dr. Kharya has successfully performed over 600 transplants, including highly complex and life-saving procedures in infants as young as four months.

He has advanced expertise in treating blood disorders such as sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, leukemias, and myelomas, and offers a comprehensive approach combining chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cutting-edge cellular therapies.

His training includes a fellowship from The Great North Children's Hospital in the UK, which has shaped his global perspective on pediatric hematology and transplant medicine.
