Dr. Rajesh Khullar is a senior general and laparoscopic surgeon at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi.

He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Max Institute of Laparoscopic, Robotic and Bariatric Surgery.

He completed his MBBS at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune University.

He obtained his MS in General Surgery from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh.

He joined Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, in 1985 and subsequently developed extensive experience in minimal access surgery.

He joined the dedicated Minimal Access Surgery department at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 1996.

He joined Max Healthcare in November 2009 as Senior Consultant in Minimal Access, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

His clinical interests include bariatric surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, upper GI surgery, hernia repair and thoracoscopic procedures for selected benign thoracic conditions.

He has co-authored the textbook Endo Hernia Repair and contributed to educational resources and national surgical training programmes.
