Dr. Shakti Bhan Khanna is one of the most experienced and respected Gynaecologists and Obstetricians in India, with over 66 years of service dedicated to women’s health.

She earned her MBBS from the University of Jammu and Kashmir in 1964 and completed her MD from the University of Delhi in 1969, followed by a Fellowship from the International Academy of Medical Sciences.

Dr. Khanna has pioneered advancements in gynaecological surgery and maternal care, and her work spans generations of clinical excellence.

She has held professorship roles at several prestigious institutions, including AIIMS, Delhi University, and Government Medical College Srinagar.

Her expertise includes gynaecologic oncology, endocrinology, adolescent gynaecology, infertility, and urogynecology.

She is the creator of the innovative Khanna’s Sling Operation for vault prolapse, a recognized surgical contribution in the field.

Dr. Khanna has received numerous honors, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Honourable Health Minister of India.

She also participated in the WHO Intra Country Fellowship program and is known internationally for her contributions to women’s health.
