About Dr. Vinod Raina

Dr. Vinod Raina is Chairman of Oncosciences at Fortis Healthcare.
He has more than 40 years of experience in Medical Oncology
He previously served as Professor and Head of Medical Oncology at AIIMS, New Delhi, for approximately 24 years.
He joined FMRI in 2013 as Director and Head of Medical Oncology and Haematology.
He became Executive Director of FMRI in 2017.
He was appointed Chairperson of Oncosciences at Fortis Healthcare in January 2020.
His clinical interests include breast, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and gynaecological cancers.
He also has expertise in lymphomas, myelomas and bone marrow/stem cell transplantation.
He has personally performed approximately 400 bone marrow and stem cell transplants, according to Fortis
He was a principal investigator on approximately 50 research projects during his AIIMS career and co-founded the INDOX oncology network
